Blessing Ritual for Abundant Wealth

1. Core Tenet

Inheriting the Taoist governing concept of “Heaven rewards diligence, and wealth comes from the Tao”, with “gathering qi to attract wealth and consolidating the foundation to promote profits” as the core, the ritual is presided over by a Taoist priest to adjust the wealth aura of the blessed person and dredge the flow of wealth. It helps the blessed person abandon greed and eagerness for quick success, establish the wealth-gathering concept of “establishing a career with integrity and gaining wealth in a proper way”, protect stable financial resources and prosperous career, and realize the wish of mutual growth of wealth and fortune and long-lasting foundation.

2. Ritual Preparation

Choose an auspicious day conducive to attracting wealth and gathering blessings, such as “Man Ri” (Fullness Day), “Cheng Ri” (Completion Day), “Kai Ri” (Opening Day), and hold the ritual at Si Shi (9-11 am) in the morning when yang energy is vigorous and aura is easy to gather.

– Inform the presiding Taoist priest of the blessed person’s name, birth date (eight characters of birth) and career status (brief description) 3 days in advance to customize the exclusive wealth-gathering blessing text;

– Taoist priest’s preparation: Place the tablets of Marshal Zhao Gongming and Fan Li in the center of the altar (symbolizing attracting wealth and gathering blessings, and gaining wealth with wisdom); display the excerpt “The more you give to others, the more you have; the more you share with others, the more you possess” from “Tao Te Ching” and a string of copper coins (symbolizing continuous wealth) on the left; place a clean water bowl and kumquats (implying full of gold and abundance) on the right; burn three sticks of sandalwood in front of the altar to create a rich wealth aura; observe precepts three days in advance and prepare the wealth-gathering mantra.

3. Solemn Ritual Process

Presided over by the Taoist priest throughout the process, no on-site participation of the blessed person is required——

– Altar Setup and Worshiping Sages: The Taoist priest arranges the altar utensils, holds sandalwood and bows three times to the two sacred statues, recites “Marshal Zhao Gongming Wealth-Attracting Mantra” and “Fan Li Wisdom Wealth-Gathering Mantra”, prays for the dual blessing of attracting wealth and gathering wealth with wisdom, and visualizes the spiritual light covering the blessed person’s wealth aura;

– Burning Incense to Gather Qi: The Taoist priest holds incense and walks around the altar three times, recites the Qi-gathering formula “Incense gathers wealth qi, fortune enters the heart, gain wealth in a proper way, and prosperity lasts forever”, and visualizes the incense turning into a wealth qi link connecting the heaven and earth wealth aura;

– Wisdom Exposition: The Taoist priest selects the excerpt “The sage does not hoard. The more he gives to others, the more he has; the more he shares with others, the more he possesses” from “Tao Te Ching”, combines the Taoist concept of “taking righteousness as profit and mutual dependence of wealth and virtue”, recites and explains the essence of gathering wealth and establishing a career, and integrates it into the aura adjustment;

– Copper Coin and Kumquat Blessing: The Taoist priest places the string of copper coins around the kumquats, sprinkles clean water gently, recites the blessing words “Copper coins are strung together, wealth paths are continuous; kumquats are full on branches, prosperity is abundant” while sprinkling, and visualizes the wealth qi integrating into the blessed person’s aura with the blessing;

– Exclusive Blessing: The Taoist priest reads the wealth-gathering blessing text customized with the blessed person’s birth date, details the wishes for abundant financial resources, smooth career and both wealth and virtue, and visualizes the power of wishes nourishing the blessed person’s wealth aura while reciting;

– Closing the Altar and Thanking Sages: The Taoist priest holds sandalwood and bows three times to thank the two sacred statues, offers the blessed string of copper coins and kumquats in front of the altar, recites “The blessing-gathering is completed, and financial resources are abundant; the sacred power protects, and the career remains evergreen”, and the ritual is completed.
