Family Harmony & Fortune-Gathering Ceremony

1. Core Tenet

Inheriting the Taoist concept of family management that “harmony in the family leads to prosperity in all undertakings, and blessings come when hearts gather”, with “gathering hearts from afar and prospering the family with harmony” as the core, the ritual is presided over remotely by a Taoist priest to adjust the flow of aura in the family and resolve estrangement and conflicts among members. It helps family members abandon selfishness, calculation, accusation and complaint, establishes the family management concept of “respecting and loving each other, and being concentric from afar”, enhances family cohesion, and protects family harmony, longevity, good fortune and health.

2. Ritual Preparation

Choose an auspicious day conducive to family reunion and harmony, such as “Ju Ri” (Gathering Day), “He Ri” (Harmony Day), “Cheng Ri” (Completion Day), and hold the ritual at Xu Shi (7-9 pm) in the evening when the aura is easy to blend and the blessing power is easy to gather.

– Inform the presiding Taoist priest of the names, birth dates (eight characters of birth) of all family members and family troubles (brief description) 3 days in advance to customize the exclusive blessing-gathering document;

– Taoist priest’s preparation: Place the tablets of Kitchen God and Earth God in the center of the altar; display excerpts from “Book of Rites” on family management and pomegranate branches (symbolizing family reunion) on the left; place a clean water bowl and apples (implying peace and auspiciousness) on the right; burn three sticks of agarwood in front of the altar to create a peaceful and blessing-gathering aura; observe precepts three days in advance and prepare the blessing-gathering mantra.

3. Solemn Ritual Process

Presided over remotely by the Taoist priest throughout the process, no on-site participation of family members is required——

– Altar Setup and Worshiping Sages: The Taoist priest arranges the altar utensils, holds agarwood and bows three times to the two sacred statues, recites “Kitchen God Family Protection Mantra” and “Earth God House Blessing-Gathering Mantra”, prays for the house gods to protect family harmony, and visualizes the spiritual light covering the space where all family members are;

– Burning Incense to Gather Qi: The Taoist priest holds incense and walks around the altar three times, recites the Qi-gathering formula “Incense gathers blessings, family gathers harmony, concentric from afar, family harmony and career prosperity”, and visualizes the incense condensing into a family blessing aura, wrapping each member;

– Wisdom Exposition: The Taoist priest selects the excerpt “Fathers and sons are sincere, brothers are harmonious, husbands and wives are harmonious, which is the prosperity of the family” from “Book of Rites”, combines the Taoist concept of “cultivating the heart first in family management”, recites and explains the essence of family harmony, and integrates it into the Qi-gathering process;

– Classic Blessing: The Taoist priest holds the excerpt from “Book of Rites” and gently covers it on the pomegranate branch, sprinkles a little clean water on the classic and the flower branch, recites the blessing words “Classics clarify ethics, pomegranates gather blessings, family harmony, and longevity lasts forever”, and visualizes the blessing power integrating into the family aura;

– Blessing Document for Gathering Blessings: The Taoist priest reads the remote blessing-gathering document customized with the birth dates of all family members, details the wishes for family harmony, peace and auspiciousness, and prosperous career, burns the document after reading, and visualizes the power of the document turning into good fortune to nourish the family;

– Closing the Altar and Thanking Sages: The Taoist priest holds agarwood and bows three times to thank the two sacred statues, offers the blessed pomegranate branches and apples in front of the altar, recites “The blessing-gathering is completed, family is harmonious and career is prosperous; gods protect the house, longevity, good fortune and health”, and the ritual is completed.

4. Delivery Standard

Provide a full HD video of the entire ritual, completely recording the altar arrangement, ritual details and core links to ensure clear viewing.
